  • Some of the Alhambra employees have been here for over Twenty-five years.

  • At one time or another, the entire Booth family has worked at the Alhambra.

  • The Lion Fountain on the front lawn was once in the Court of Lions where the buffet is now served.

  • This is the last theatre that Betty Grable ever performed in. She did a play called Born Yesterday in 1973.

  • The backstage hallway has hundreds of stars painted on it, and every actor that performs at the Alhambra signs their name on one.

  • The Alhambra has only had 2 owners in it’s forty year history.

  • Tod Booth Sr.’s family has had quite a showing on the Alhambra stage. His wife, Lisa, first performed on the Alhambra stage in 1984 in I Oughta Be in Pictures.

  • His oldest daughter, Carrie, made her stage debut in Music Man in 1987

  • His oldest son, Tod Booth, Jr. made his stage debut in the 1985 Alhambra production of Oliver.

  • His youngest son, Jason made his stage debut at 2 years old in a papoose worn by his father in the “I’m an Indian Too” production number in Annie Get Your Gun. (By his own choice, that was also his last stage appearance.)

  • His youngest daughter, Jessica, had her stage debut at 8 years old, playing Tiny Tim in Christmas Carole.

  • Only his middle daughter Sara has never performed on stage, but did work as a server at the theatre for a few years.

  • With the introduction of Tod Booth, Jr.’s daughter Alyssa in the 2007 production of The Wizard of Oz, three generations of the Booth family has been on the Alhambra stage.

  • In the twenty plus years Tod Booth has owned the theatre, over 2 million people have seen a production at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre.

  • In 1984, an article came out introducing Tod Booth as the new owner, and predicted that the Alhambra would never survive under new management.

  • The Alhambra is the oldest dinner theatre in the country.
